Things to do with a Horse

There are as many ways to enjoy horses as there are personalities. Although many activities involve riding, there is also driving, vaulting (gymnastics off horseback), and working with horses on a line, kind of like a dog on a leash. And, some folks just like having them around.

If you do want to ride, one of the first topics of interest is the saddle. Generally speaking, most people ride in either an English or a Western saddle. Which you choose is ultimately not very important, because in the end it’s all horses, and all fun. So, play around with it a bit – take some English lessons, then take some Western lessons.
